September 14, 2019 Boil Water Advisory Lifted The Boil Water Advisory has now been lifted.
A reminder as well that a dumpster bin will be available for members (likely Monday Sept. 15th)to get rid of your waste and debris from the storm. It will be located in the parking lot of the Clubhouse. Please make sure you do not include any toxic materials (paint, aerosol products, etc.) among your waste.
September 13, 2019 Power back on at Hebrides! For those of you not yet aware of it, the electricity is now back on at the Hebrides. The boil water advisory should still be considered in effect until further notice.
September 13, 2019 Dumpster Bin Available to Hebrides Members The Hebrides normally rents a dumpster bin at this time of year to clean up leftover waste from the common areas. Given the garbage created from Dorian, this year we are allowing Hebrides members to put waste and debris from their properties (nothing toxic)into this bin. It will be located near the Clubhouse and should arrive today (Friday) or Monday.

September 10, 2019 Water System after Dorian and Boil Water Advisory As you know, the Hebrides is still without electricity. In order to allow those in cottages to have some access to water we have rented a generator that is hooked up to the water pump for 4-6 hours per day. This should allow us to provide water for everyone and allow you to stock up on your water supplies. When the generator is not on, most properties will still have access to water. However, those on higher ground and further from the pump house may not get water.

Also, during this period consider that we are under a Boil Water Advisory as a precautionary measure.
September 10, 2019 Seaweed and Debris Cleanup on your Lots In the aftermath of the hurricane, many lots have debris and seaweed on them. Since the grass cannot be cut, Owen will be gathering this up this week and moving it to the roadside where it will be hauled away. Abandoned stairs will not be taken as part of this process.

September 9, 2019 Hebrides After Dorion Hello Members
Hurricane Dorion has caused a power outage to the area and as a result the water system is not working. We are trying to obtain a generator to get the water pumps up and running.
Damage has happened throughout the Hebrides, including seaweed on properties, shingles off, beach stairs disappearing and a lot of debris strewn around. Those who are onsite are working hard to start the clean-up.

Another update will follow so stay tuned to the website.

Thank you
Board of Directors
September 6, 2019 News Alert Hello HHA Members

If you are staying at your cottage in the Hebrides this weekend, we suggest you may want to have an additional supply of water on hand, ie fill containers for drinking, cooking and for flushing toilets. If the power goes out, the water pumps will not work and and you will not have water at your cottage.

Here is some other information you may find helpful in anticipation of the weekend weather:
Weather news will be shared all weekend long at CBC Radio 96.1 (other local radio stations may be sharing local weather news as well).
Charge all electronics
Get cash in case ATMs are down
Get water & non-perishable food items and supplies such as a battery powered radio, flashlight and other items.

Let’s hope we don’t have to use any of the above. Stay safe and dry!
